Sustaining Quality Education
Through Community Partnerships
Why We Exist
Due to the 2024 double levy failure, students in the Yelm community stand to lose access to multiple educational opportunities that will have long-reaching effects on the entire Yelm community. The Bridge exists to stand in the gap left by the program cuts to give students the opportunity to continue their educational journey uninterrupted. We care for our students and their future and know that you do to.
How The Bridge Works
Our aim is not to create anything new. There are already amazing community organizations operating to serve Yelm and the surrounding areas. The Bridge is simply acting as a hub to bring those organizations together under a single umbrella of services with a unified vision and mission. This will connect those organizations with the resources, facility space, and volunteers needed to help them do what they do best for the future of our students. This hub will be an easy access point for families to find and engage with those services their student is losing due to the levy failure.
We Need You…
The Bridge only works if we have invested community partners, volunteers, and organizations that want to band together to serve our students. Without partnerships, we can still serve the affected Yelm families, but at a more limited capacity than any one of us could if working cooperatively.
